It could be the color setting of your monitor. I have a color spyder to tune on screen color. You can borrow that too.

Even downgrading is not easy....

I used to have a set of nice stereo with pre-amp and 2 power amp. The speaker cable is as thick as my index finger. The terminus is gold plated about 1 cm wide.

Since I changed my listening habit some years ago, the nice setup was just used for TV watching. I recently replaced all the powerful and heavy amps with one Denon integrated amp. Looking at the back panel, I can see instantly the materials are much "cheaper" in the Denon. Anyway, while doing the downgrading, I saw that the Denon speaker terminus are too small to fit the speaker cable! And the cable is already wired through the wall to the speakers. I am stuck again.

This kind of fork cap is mostly used in speaker connection; for the amp connection, you should try to use banana cap.....

Yes ow need to find a fork-to-banana converter.

I used like to play around with stuff like these also, but now to lazy to fiddle with the connections, etc.... The whole exercise is to downgrade the setup so the operation is easier, generate less heat, etc...
