I don't think it is done by Fisheye lens....just check from the corners....correct me if I am wrong....

I think the picture was shot with wide angle lenses, then corrected for the distortion with software.

Characteristics for wide angle:
- the amount of details on the side
- the objects in the front, like the well, is much larger than those at the back compare to normal vision
- the black corners
- deep depth of field
