土頭土腦去土樓
« on: 02 February 2011, 13:29:42 »
This is my first ever album for photography. I know there are a lot to improve, but anyway, a starting point.  The place is Xiamen 南靖土樓

Hey, diddle, diddle ! The cat and the fiddle.

This is very interesting. I had been wanting to visit the 土樓 for a few years now.

Where exactly is the place, and how to go there?

Anyway, thanks for the photos, and Kung Hei Fat Choi!!!

It's a tour that I joined, it's calloed 南靖田螺坑土楼 (四菜一汤), it took 2 hrs' to travel from the hotel (in city) to the 土樓 where these photos are taken. In between there's nothing but trees and winded roads.

This link make it look interesting if you view it from the sky. Isn't that look like military facilities?

Well done!  There are several places for 土楼。  But I think you have been to one of the best.  It was once mis interpreted as missile launching facility by the US government.   ;D
