This is very interesting. I had been wanting to visit the 土樓 for a few years now.
Where exactly is the place, and how to go there?

It's a tour that I joined, it's calloed 南靖田螺坑土楼 (四菜一汤), it took 2 hrs' to travel from the hotel (in city) to the 土樓 where these photos are taken. In between there's nothing but trees and winded roads.
This link (http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=24.587793,117.05585&spn=0.011336,0.022638&t=h&z=16&lci=com.panoramio.all) make it look interesting if you view it from the sky. Isn't that look like military facilities?

Well done! There are several places for 土楼。 But I think you have been to one of the best. It was once mis interpreted as missile launching facility by the US government. ;D
