Title: 新娘潭行山曬壺 (14-05-2009)
Post by: chin on 15 May 2009, 12:28:43
This was the second time I went hiking with my tea friends. The first time we brought along gas stove and teapots to make tea near a creek along the hiking trail. This time, we had a lot more teapots for the purpose of taking pictures outdoor.

The first picture shows the little waterfall where we stopped to make tea and take pictures of the teapots. We used the water on top of the fall.

This group of friends also include many orchid growers and collectors. They were able to identify many plants along the trail. This picture is the plant they use as material to grow the orchid on.

We saw may nice 杉樹 along the way.

This part of the trail had a bush fire before, but new life is growing from the burnt tree.

I saw this new grown shy leaves, and used my new macro lens to take a shot.

When I process the pictures at home, I found out there are more to the leaves.  :)

When I was small, I used to eat these little plants. It tastes lightly sour.

Some of my friends grow these in their garden and call them 酢漿草.

BTW the first tea we had was a 紫大益. It was a raw Puer but stored in a humid condition thus the tea looks dark. Because of it looked like badly stored, my friend was able to purchase this at about 1/10 the market price. Turned out it's still in very good drinking condition. Good deal.

Just photos of the 開四海 teapots. I have 4 of his teapots, and have seen the price gone up from RMB4000 to RMB6000+ within 2 years.

Some time I see this as the price to pay for us Hongkongers riding along the Chinese exonomic growth wagon. When the mainland economy growth, the price of tradition arts grow even faster. 壽山石 is another example.
