Just finished reading this book (ebook version on iphone), using my MTR time.
This book gives a story of the history of money in general. Though it was framed as a story full of conspiracy, it outlines some facts about the money growth and the historic events under the writer's points of view.
I do not totally agree with his perpositions but some of the facts stated therein did puzzle me on some monetary policies that FED or other Central Bank implemented.
I also noted that the writer opposes the use of debt-money system and he is very in the gold-peg monetary system. In addition, I think he really wants to put his argument to Chinese government and politically, he praises about the current PRC government in implementing the current monetary policy.
An interesting read....
