I re-discovered this set of photos while cleaning up my photo archive.
In summer 2007 our office had a holiday trip to Phuket, and we went out in an evening to see the Simon's Cabaret. I have been to Phuket quite a few times, and this was the second time I see this show. Each time my kids (and I) would have lots of fun.
There wasn’t much a story here, so just enjoy the pictures.
All photos taken with a 200mm fixed focal length lens, probably all at F2.8. I was sitting in the 3rd row from the stage. Only 2 pictures were cropped.

The girls were supposedly all men in different stages of transformation into a woman.

"She" had the brightest smile. ;D
And very nice upper teeth, but not the lower ones. Perhaps only the uppers ones show?

Some of the funny side shows. I think they are still all-man.

The after-show "meat market".
I, of course, did my share to help the local economy. My kid and I had a few photos with the "girls" and spreaded a few hundred bahts.
10 years ago in 1999, we chartered half of a Dragonair flight and took the whole company to Thailand. One of the most memorable funny event in that trip was that my brother was "blackmailed". That was the first time I watch shows like the Simon's Cabaret. After the show, we were encouraged to take pictures with the "girls". The going rate was something like 50 baht to take picture, 100 baht if you want to "touch" the girls. After my brother took picture with one of the girls, she grabbed his hand and force onto her breast, and asked for 100 baht. :o

This picture has nothing to do with the show....
We saw this on our bed as we checked in to the hotel. I thought this was cute and took a pic.
