hangchoi:
A night scene in Ginza. That's concluded my trip with my sister in law and my mom in law.
hangchoi:
My wife was back to Hong Kong on 5 May and my primary schoolmates would arrive on 6 May.
Therefore I had a day on my own. I decided to go to some spots that has some meanings to me but may not for others.
The first spot I wanted to have a look was Shibuya crossing, the most busiest junction in the world. It is really amazing. The transition of the traffic light takes about one minute but you can see people rushing around. They can manage to finish the crossing just before the cars start crossing the road.
hangchoi:
The next spot is Japan Bridge.
Not only because this is an old bridge dated back to Menji period, but because this is the road mark of Tokyo, i.e. the measuring point for distance between cities.
hangchoi:
Spot no. 3, the Edo Castle, i.e the nowadays Royal Palace. This one is big but the historical significance is undoubtedly the Seimon Stonebridge 二重橋.
hangchoi:
After that, I walked to Tokyo station and on the way I took this picture. The modern business center on the left and the traditional old castle on the right, separated by the moat.
